Korean War

Korean War 50th Anniversary Site
On behalf of the Secretary of Defense, we welcome you to the Korean War Commemoration web site. This is the official, public access web site for the Department of Defense commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Korean War and is the starting point for all public information regarding events during the commemoration period which runs from June 25, 2000 through November 11, 2003.

The Korean War Educator
This website is dedicated with appreciation and remembrance to the thousands of American veterans who served and fought in war-torn Korea in 1950-1953 and beyond.

The Korean War Anniversary Website
This site is dedicated to all those who served their country during the Korean War, especially those who paid the ultimate price and those who suffered as POWs. May we always keep the memory of their sacrifice alive.

Korean War Book of Remembrance
This site remembers those who gave their lives for their country in the Korean War (1950-1953).

Korean War Aces
The pilots of the United States Air Force were heavily outnumbered and flew an airplane that in many ways was inferior to the MiG-15s flown by their Communist adversaries. Nor could they pursue the MiGs into their sanctuaries beyond the Yalu River. Nonetheless, they built up an impressive combat record.

Korean War Veterans National Museum and Library
The Korean War Veterans National Museum and Library planned for construction in Tuscola, Illinois, will be among the first museums of national scope devoted entirely to the subject of one particular war.
