Mike Ettore
Mike Ettore enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1974 and attained the
grade of Staff Sergeant prior to being commissioned a Second Lieutenant
of Marines in 1982. Throughout his career, he served primarily in
Infantry units. He served two tours on the Drill Field, one as a
Drill Instructor and one as a Series Officer and Company Commander.
He also served on the staff of The Basic School (TBS) at Quantico,
Virginia. While at TBS, he served as the OIC of the Defensive Tactics
Section, was the Company Commander for two Warrant Officer Basic
Course companies and finished his tour as the OIC of the Offensive
Tactics Section. Upon completion of Marine Corps Command and Staff
College, he served in the Coalition and Special Warfare branch at
Quantico, Virginia. He retired in 1998 at the grade of Major. During
his career, he participated in combat operations in Grenada, Lebanon
and Kuwait.
Doug Rich
Doug Rich enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve in May of 1992 and
attained the grade of Lance Corporal prior to being commissioned
a Second Lieutenant of Marines in 1995. He served as rifleman with
India Company 3d Battalion, 25th Marines as a reservist and as a
Rifle Platoon Commander, Heavy Weapons Platoon Commander and Company
Executive Officer with 3d Battalion, 3d Marines as an active duty
Infantry Officer. He left the Marine Corps in 1999 at the grade
of Captain.
